Well, I've been reading through a very long discussion on my EPIC lists dealing with agents. Are they necessary or not? Gee, that's a tough one. I have seven publishers now, but I would jump at the chance for an agent. Why is that? It is a perceived need thing, I think. When you grow up dreaming of being a writer some day, "making it" includes an agent. Of course, it also includes a New York publisher and movie rights...
