I was talking to someone today about how my booksigning went yesterday, and she said "Gosh, you are a marketing machine." If we hadn't been talking through emails, I would have laughed out loud! I have always considered myself a TERRIBLE marketer...though I am working hard at learning.

Someone told me the secret yesterday in a way that finally drove home the message, so I am going to share it. He told me "Your entire job now is to generate income." The writing is done, the artist is finished with their job. Now the "marketing machine" takes over.

I am really psyched up to try and see if I've got a handle on it now! Yesterday, I sold four books (two to my mom...) Next weekend, I have three days to sell. I'll let you know what happens. :)
