Well, the Faire was lovely. Few of you non-Rennies will understand the significance of this, but to me it is an awesome thing--I just ordered a custom Pendragon bodice with my RieWrites logo on it. This will be a one-of-a-kind leather stomacher with a custom fit with my book and quill. I can't WAIT to wear it to a signing....

Other than that, it was a real thrill to initiate Newell to Ded Bob, and get him his first Faire Pair tights, as well as showing off the beautiful TRF site to a neophyte. They have added a lot of permanent structures this year. It was particularly interesting to see the columned wall around the jousting arena. (Turns out to be a practical consideration...the walls were vibrating with the speakers housed inside. You can actually HEAR the announcements at the back now.)

All in all, a great faire. I am sunburned and happy--usual faire aftermath....lol
