And now for something completely different.

I entered this poetry contest. One of those where you send in a poem to a website. Probably the same kind of "buy a book thing." Well, I got a message that I had advanced to the next round, and as part of the deal, I had to judge four poems. They had to be rated "good, very good, excellent" (I guess because there weren't supposed to be any BAD poems in an advanced round.) If it were up to me, I would be a hand's down winner, because I have judged two rounds now (I "advanced" again) and two of the four in each set I've judged have been so pitiful to me I have questioned the value of advancement. I know poetry is subjective, but....
