2003-11-05 - 12:38 p.m. In Memorium.... I'm having a hard time concentrating on things today. I received word this morning that my friend, and former editor, Ariana Overton died in her sleep last night. Even though I never met Ari in person, she taught me so much... It was her keen eye and insight that made THE BLOOD THAT BINDS into a "real" book. Her cover for that novel captures it for me perfectly. It was her encouragement that added 5,000 words to THE LUTE AND THE LIAR, some of the best stuff in it. Again, she created a stunning cover for me. I had contacted her just last week about the possibility of doing a custom cover for "Sidhe Moves Through the Faire", and I was to get back to her with more details. She was talking of retiring, and said my cover would be one of her last. Ari designed my logo of quill, ink and book. She had been there for me ever since I started this "professional writer" gig. I will miss her a great deal.... Sign My Guestbook! powered by SignMyGuestbook.com
