I think I've said before how passionate I am about stats. I love to see how I am doing. Does anyone else do this? For example, I printed out the poetry stats from Author's Den today to help me decide which poems to include in my next anthology. I consider it market research. If a lot of people are reading a poem, SOMETHING is catching their attention--probably the title, because that is all you see until you open the poem--but if a title isn't catchy enough to draw in traffic, do I really want it in a book anyway? I think it's very cool to see what people are looking at on my AD site. Makes me feel the whole enterprise is worthwhile....
