Faire Days....

As anyone who has been to my website knows, I love a good Faire. Well, today, I went to audition to be a street performer at my favorite little local faire. It is a weird feeling, going on-site before the season's real cleanup has begun. Everything looked so shabby and lost, but I kept seeing super-imposed images of what it is like in the middle of a bustling weekend, and it was hard to reconcile the two. I got a good poem out of it...maybe I'll post it tomorrow. :)
